Spiritually Formed Sexually Whole: Sexual Struggle as a Catalyst to Spiritual Intimacy and Healing (An 8-Week In-Person Group)

  • Janvier Counseling & Associates, LLC 378 Delaware Avenue Oakmont, PA, 15139 United States (map)

Sexual struggle is not an enemy to be destroyed, but an invitation to deeper intimacy with God and Healing.

(The approach in this course has shown effectiveness in two research studies)

What if healing from sexual struggle is not primarily about thinking better thoughts, but about becoming a different kind of person—one whose very body, reflexes, desires, and relationships are shaped by the life of Christ?

This question sits at the heart of Spiritually Formed, Sexually Whole. Before we can speak meaningfully about sexual healing, freedom, or wholeness, we must first lay a foundation for what it means to be spiritually formed. Not as a disembodied, cognitive exercise—but as a deeply embodied, communal, and transformational way of life.

When addiction is understood as a symptom of deeper wounds rather than a moral failure, the door opens not only to sobriety, but to transformation, integration, and wholeness.

Recovery and healing is less about avoiding bad behavior and more about becoming whole.

The 8-week course will address:

  • An Integrated Clinical and Theological Perspective of Sexual Addiction
